Two plastic-covered safety snap-off blades for the ESK-1 beginner cutter, in a plastic case, blister packed. The cover keeps contact with the edge to a minimum, even when changing the blade.
The OLFA ESK-1 is an entry-level snap-off blade knife and makes an ideal first utility knife. The blade is covered with plastic so that only a small part of the edge is exposed. This reduces the risk of injury when cutting and when changing the blade. The rounded, lightweight handle is easy to hold, even for small children's hands.
Blade segments are snapped off with the supplied egg-shaped blade snapper, which doubles as a stand. Reversing the blade makes the cutter suitable for right- and left-handed users. Originally introduced as a cutter for kids, the ESK-1 is a learning and safety knife for all ages – in schools, classes, sewing courses or the craft corner.
