The OLFA PC-L is the heavy-duty plastic cutter for powerful scoring of acrylic, PVC and laminate. The large handle offers a secure grip and the wheel lock holds the blade even under high pressure; 2 spare blades are stored in the handle.
OLFA PC series plastic cutters are scoring tools for hard plastic sheets such as acrylic and PVC as well as laminates. Instead of sawing, you score the sheet several times with the hook-shaped blade until you reach at least half the material thickness, then snap it cleanly along the line. Finally, smooth the edge with the back of the blade.
Trades, exhibition stand construction, sign making, industry and model making benefit from this simple, low-dust method. A wheel lock fixes the blade and spare blades are stored in the handle. Each blade has two cutting edges; refills are PB-450 for the PC-S and PB-800 for the PC-L.
