Note: the SK-12 is not designed for cutting food itself.
OLFA safety knives with retracting blades are made for everyone who opens cartons, film and strapping every day: in goods receiving, warehouse and shipping, in upholstery and trade workshops, or when unpacking fabric bolts in the sewing studio. A spring pulls the blade back into the handle after the cut. This lowers the risk of cut injuries and protects the goods inside the box.
Every model suits right- and left-handed users, blades are changed without tools, and each knife in this range carries the GS mark for tested safety. Depending on the job, choose a standard handle, an anti-slip elastomer grip, fully automatic retraction, a pre-loaded hook blade or the NSF-certified all-metal version for areas with strict hygiene requirements.
