Prym Lurex bias binding is a metallised bias binding for comfortably binding edges and curves on clothing as well as table and bed linen. Thanks to its metallic sheen, it is mainly used for decorative purposes, for example to enhance home-sewn costumes.
The binding is 40 mm wide and pre-folded to 20 mm. It is made of 55 % polyester, 35 % metallised thread and 10 % polyamide. As it is cut on the bias, it stretches easily and fits the required curve exactly. To bind an edge, fold the pre-folded tape over the cut edge and topstitch close to the edge.
