Prym cover buttons are button blanks for making buttons from your own fabric. They let you create a button in exactly the right colour and pattern for any garment, accessory or decorative project – for ateliers, tailors and creative home sewers. This version is assembled without a tool.
The blanks are made of rust-proof brass and have a sturdy wire eyelet for sewing on. A serrated edge on the inside keeps the fabric evenly taut. Illustrated three-step instructions and a cutting template on the back of the pack show how to cut the fabric into a circle and cover the blank. Depending on the fabric, the finished buttons are washable at up to 60 °C.
