Prym Smyrna needles without point are designed for knotting and linking Smyrna rugs. Their large eye takes coarse wool, for example uncut skein wool. The needles are also suitable for general use in any handicraft work with woollen yarns.
The needles are made of rust-protected steel. Their rounded tip is gentle on the fibres of both the wool and the canvas. Each pack contains 25 needles in size No. 1, measuring 2.4 mm in diameter and 70 mm in length – a sturdy needle for thick yarns and coarse grounds such as rug canvas.
