The Prym universal netting fork is an adjustable frame for hairpin lace crochet. It is used to make net-like crocheted strips with loops along both sides, which are then crocheted together into airy scarves, cushions, mesh bags or doilies.
The frame is made of aluminium and plastic and can be assembled in eight different widths between 20 and 100 mm. The work alternates between pulling through a chain stitch, turning the fork and working a double crochet. In the next step, the loops of the strips are joined in various patterns.
