Description

Country of origin: European Union (Germany)

The Robuso cutting shears 1025/C 8" are forged cutting shears with slim, pointed blades, a large oblong eye and a higher-set screw, 21 cm long – for light to medium fabrics, upholstery fabrics, leather and tarpaulins.

The ROBUSO cutting shears 1025/C are a special model for precise cutting. Their slim, pointed blades can be guided accurately along the cutting line, and the higher-set screw gives the shears strong cutting force right to the tips of the blades.

The large oblong eye has room for three fingers – the shears sit comfortably in the hand and transmit force evenly. They are forged and hardened from C60 carbon steel, the blades are blue-glazed inside and out, and the handles are brilliant-red powder-coated. Available in 8" (21 cm) and 9.5" (25 cm).

Frequently asked questions

Which materials are the 1025/C suitable for?
For precise cutting of light and medium-weight fabrics, upholstery and furnishing fabrics, leather, tarpaulins and tents as well as thin cardboard. For very heavy materials such as felt, carpet or thick wadding we recommend the more powerful WISS cutting shears 1023/C.

Which size is right for me?
The 8" shears (21 cm, 8 cm cutting length, 166 g) are handy for shorter cuts and curves. The 9.5" shears (25 cm, 9.5 cm cutting length, 230 g) suit longer cuts and larger cutting jobs.

How do I care for the shears?
C60 carbon steel is not stainless. Wipe the blades dry after use and oil the screw and blades lightly now and then. When the edge wears, our sharpening service will resharpen the shears.
