The ARS tailor's shears 2100/CR 10" are Japanese tailor's shears with aluminium handles, screwed-on chrome-plated blades and adjustable blade pressure, without micro-serration – for natural fibres, jersey and leather.
The ARS tailor's shears 2100/CR and 2101/CR come from Japan. They have sturdy aluminium handles and screwed-on blades that are forged, ground and chrome-plated – making them rust-protected and resharpenable. The adjusting screw lets you regulate the blade pressure yourself and so increase the cutting performance on thicker fabrics.
The 2100/CR without micro-serration is intended for natural fibres, jersey and leather, the 2101/CR with micro-serration for all smooth synthetic fabrics. Both versions are 10" (26 cm) long, with 10 cm cutting length and 240 g.

Frequently asked questions
With or without micro-serration?
Without micro-serration (2100/CR) for natural fibres, jersey and leather. With micro-serration (2101/CR) for all smooth synthetic fabrics – the fine serration holds slippery fibres while cutting.
What is the adjusting screw for?
It regulates the pressure with which the blades meet. More pressure increases the cutting performance on thicker fabrics.
