Prym betweens are hand sewing needles for precise, professional hand sewing. They have the same wire diameter as long sewing needles of the same number but are about 7 mm shorter: long needles offer a better grip, while betweens allow quicker penetration. Experienced sewers use them for running stitches, hems, repairs and quilting – they are regarded as the classic quilting needle.
Made of hardened steel, the needles have a burr-free punched eye. The slim point and smooth, pore-free coated surface glide easily through all fabrics, and the balanced spring stiffness prevents bending and breaking. The head can be guided even without a thimble. The range covers sizes No. 1 to 11.
